Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Networking

Google’s software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another

• Support the launch of Cloud networking infrastructure
• Design, develop, and scale cloud networking products and infrastructure
• Advocate and drive engineering and operational excellence
• Create designs for complex projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on ambitious goals

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
• Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in a related technical field
• Experience in networking spanning one or more of the configuration, control, and data planes
• Experience with infrastructure technologies including developing large-scale distributed systems
• Experience in developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
• Ability to help quickly and resolve customer-related issues
